Chris Brooking
Brooking rides the Jack Granger Memorial

Chris Brooking joined the team in 2002 from Cambridge CC.  He was East Anglian divisional champion in 2001, and the Eastern Counties road race champion in 2000.  A versatile all-rounder, Brooking is capable of winning road races and time-trials.  Last season saw him win the Bill Thomas Memorial road race after a race-long break with Api team-mate James Millard.  Two of his time-trial wins last year also saw him post faster times than accompanying 2-up events!  Chris finished the 2002 season early to get married to his partner Denise, but signed off in style with 6th place in the National 100 championships.
